I'm an editor with seven years' experience.
I decided to become an editor while working as a bookseller – one of my colleagues said, 'if you like books so much, why don't you do it as a career?' So I got a graduate diploma (top of the class!) in editing.
I've since worked as a digital editor, where I dealt with all words appy, e-booky, and websitey.
I've also worked as a print editor, where I've managed books on everything from camping sites to retro jumpers. I've even commissioned a few books myself.
